DeepNines Bolsters Their Commitment to Growth with the Addition of Marcella Mazzucca as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing
Addition of industry-leading marketing executive is next step for DeepNines’ expansion in the education market and beyond
DALLAS, TEXAS - DeepNines Technologies, a leader in network security systems, today announced the addition of Marcella Mazzucca to the DeepNines executive management team as vice president of worldwide marketing. Mrs. Mazzucca brings over 15 years of IT security experience to her position at DeepNines.

At DeepNines, Mrs. Mazzucca will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy, including corporate branding, lead generation programs, product management, public relations, market intelligence and channel marketing. She also holds a critical role in determining DeepNines’ strategic direction and identifying business opportunities.

Mrs. Mazzucca joins DeepNines from Surf Control, where she served as the vice president of worldwide marketing. While at Surf Control, she founded a unified global marketing organization and was responsible for implementing a global marketing strategy including demand generation and brand awareness campaigns. Prior to Surf Control, Mrs. Mazzucca was at Microsoft where she served as director of marketing within the Enterprise Access and Security Division. At Microsoft, she played an instrumental role in spearheading their global child safety work and its alignment to the company’s Trust Worthy Computing Initiative which was launched by Bill Gates in 2003. In this most rewarding segment of her career, Mrs. Mazzucca participated in the company’s Get Net Safe Tour, a National road show together with i-Safe and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children promoting online safety for students, teachers and parents. Mrs. Mazzucca joined Microsoft form Sybari, where she was vice president of global marketing and media relations, restructuring sales and marketing integration and operations to lower cost of lead qualification and increase sales productivity. Prior to Sybari, she founded her own full-service marketing communications agency, and held leadership positions at SuperNova Software and Programmer’s Paradise.
