Deepnines announces that the Sleuth9 Security System will be showcased at the 2003 Sun network conference
DeepNines' Sleuth9 integrated intrusion prevention and anti-virus solution selected by Sun Microsystems to be demonstrated during conference keynote addressSAN FRANCISCO - Sun Network 2003 Conference and Pavilion -- September 17, 2003 -- DeepNines Technologies, a leading enterprise network security company, today announced that the Sleuth9 Security System has been selected to be demonstrated at the 2003 SunNetwork Conference during the keynote address Wednesday, September 17th, at 9:00am by Mark Tolliver, Sun's Chief Strategy Officer. Sleuth9 is an integrated intrusion prevention and anti-virus solution that sits inline, invisibly, in front of the router to prevent DoS, DDoS, port scans, Trojan horses, self-propagating worms and viruses, as well as other known or unknown attacks from entering or leaving a network. Sleuth 9 is currently available as an appliance on Solaris SPARC with the Operating System hardened for security.
DeepNines also announced that it will release a version of the Sleuth9 Security System which will support Solaris x86, in October of 2003. In addition, DeepNines announced that Sleuth9 will also run on the new Sun Fire V250 server, a secure and reliable two-processor tower server from Sun Microsystems.
