DeepNines iTrust Scores High Marks in Security at Bonham Independent School District
Texas school district selects iTrust to protect their students online

Bonham Independent School District is a Class 3A school district that serves over 2,000 students across six K-12 schools. The Internet and its resources are available to Bonham ISD students through the district’s networked computers. Bonham students are given Internet access in order to facilitate resource sharing, innovation and learning through the vast information highway of the Internet. In order to ensure that access was being used properly, Bonham began searching for a solution that would allow them to manage the types of content and applications students could access online. In addition, administrators at Bonham wanted to ensure that they were complying with federal standards such as the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
“Compliance with CIPA is important,” said Bret Simpson, director of technology at Bonham ISD. “But it is not important because it is the law, it is important because it is the right thing to do. Protecting students from inappropriate content is our highest priority and that is what DeepNines iTrust allowed us to do.”
Mr. Simpson and his staff put iTrust through rigorous testing and were very pleased with the results. In addition to being the only solution that could effectively stop access to illegitimate online content, iTrust was also easy to integrate and manage.
